Practically "in the shadow" of Oracle Park, LocalTap is a fun and lively Bar & Grill located between the SoMa & South Beach neighborhoods in the heart of San Francisco. Known for our bar bites and award-winning chicken tenders and wings, we have over a dozen TVs showing nearly "every game, every day" which gives us year-round appeal for serious sports watching, drinking, and casual dining for everyone. Featuring over 20 beers on draft and a full bar with specialty cocktails, mixed drinks, and an assortment of fine wines and beers.

Established in 2015. Although new ownership and a remodel, there is history infused in the bar's new decor. The front corner features a collection of black-and-white photographs paying homage to the bar's original owners, and the current landlords, Ken and Jerry. Their father purchased the bar in 1938, right after Prohibition ended. They ran it from the '50s or '60s until 1993 when Zeke's took over. As teenagers, they even sold cigars to folks leaving the train station through the bar's front window. Rolling Stone Magazine was across the street from 1967-1977 when it was Jerry's Inn. Rolling Stone had a tab there for all the musicians and the writers. The landlords provided us with stories of drinking with Keith Richards and Hunter S. Thompson to name a few famous patrons, with many more to come.
